If you have been in the computer repair business long, you probably know that customers always have the last minute add on task they want you to do as well. This is where having a good change order form can come in handy. When your customer changes their mind, you simply use the change order form to add or adjust their contracts.

So, you want to know exactly what a change order form is and how to use it? Let’s start with the easy explanation. A computer repair form is your initial contract with your client to perform work for them. A change order is added to the original contract or takes place of it to include the last minute repairs they want to add to the original contract. A change order is generally a one or two page outline of the extra time and cost a last minute contract altering extra job will cost. This form lays out the new terms and conditions of extra time, material and disruption of other projects. It also covers you if your client decides to anything else, cancels or reschedules on you.
